Adamah (http://www NULL.isabellafreedman NULL.org/adamah), part of the Isabella Freedman Jewish Retreat Center, is a farm and organic goat dairy that sells its products and offers learning, leadership and spiritual programs.
Green Village Initiative creates community and school gardens in Westport and nearby towns as well as sponsoring a variety of projects including an organic demonstration farm. (http://www NULL.westportgvi NULL.org/)
Hartford Food System (http://www NULL.hartfordfood NULL.org/) fights hunger and improves nutrition in the Hartford community through urban agriculture, a CSA, collaborations with city markets and the school system.
Knox Parks Foundation (http://www NULL.knoxparks NULL.org) has established many community gardens in the city of Hartford for residents to grow food and enhance their neighborhoods.
Connecticut Community Gardening Association (http://ctcommunitygardening NULL.org/) provides information and supports community gardening efforts in Connecticut.
Connecticut NOFA (http://www NULL.ctnofa NULL.org/Farms NULL.php) offers information and resources on production and purchasing of organic food.

University of Connecticut Cooperative Extension (http://www NULL.ladybug NULL.uconn NULL.edu/food/index NULL.html) is a source of information on safe fruit and vegetable gardening, nutrition, produce storage and healthy eating.
Urban Oaks Organic Farm (http://www NULL.blog NULL.urbanoaks NULL.org/), sponsored by First Lutheran Church in New Britain, has a year round farm stand and a CSA.
Bettylou Sandy of Bettylou’s Gardening (http://www NULL.bettylousgardening NULL.com/) in Manchester has taught us the basics of gardening.
